30 years after the Oslo Accords
A Critical Reflection on Legacy and Regional Dynamics
Tuesday, October 10, 2023
5:00 - 7:00 PM
West Hall, Auditorium A, AUB Google maps link here
The event will bring together Norwegian and Palestinian academics who will engage in reflections and discussions regarding this historic agreement and its enduring legacy. Additionally, it will dive into its far-reaching implications for Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.
We hope that this event will serve as more than just a commemoration of the Oslo Accords; it will serve as a platform for the exploration of various aspects related to conflict and peace in the Middle Eastern region.
On the sidelines of this event, two presentations focusing on Türkiye's regional policies, especially in Northern Syria, as well as the roles played by Russia, will be delivered by two esteemed Norwegian scholars. This supplementary session promises to provide further depth to our understanding of the broader regional context.
