hide or disable bars/circles

I've tried to hide or disable the bars and circles at the bottom which allows you to manually click and change the slide.
I figured the easiest way was to comment out the skins for them in the CSS. but when i do that it shows an array of 0 ~Array size. in my case (0 1 2 3)

Is there a way to disable or hide it properly?
any help would be greatly appreciated,
