Thumbnails show blank or missing

Have basic version running in my page but my own thumbnail images won't appear. they are 100 by 75 pixels in thumbs folder.. on pagination show as empty box, on thumbnail slider don't appear at all

Is driving me nuts . I size with PS and they are jpg images. Any clues?
