Cant Actavate plugin after updateing wordpress

We have been using this plugin for a while but after we updated WordPress to 4.1.1 it will no longer activate it gives me this error
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysqli_get_server_info() in /home/vbuild/public_html/wp-content/plugins/camera-slideshow/index.php on line 41
line 41 has $ver = mysqli_get_server_info( $wpdb->dbh ); but I have no idea what that is telling me
