  • Fixed two bugs in the software 
    • There are 2 more known software bugs and 1 feature I'm trying to implement before the beta testers start testing
  • Started printing cases for the beta testers.  I still have several days of parts to print

  • Fix a bug with slides ui elements not correctly storing or displaying the last used value

  • Added test code to handle better automated testing of PCBs to verify the hardware is working
  • Ordered some parts I needed to send out the beta kits

  • Fixed some text in some of the menus.
  • Created a release branch for the beta testers
  • Put together the beta kits, tested them, and shipped them

The beta kits have shipped so now I'm going to which to addressing the feedback I receive from the beta users.  I'll also work on finalizing the hardware and cases.  Lots of work left, but so far progress is good.

I'll be stopping updates to this thread an start a new Beta updates thread once I start getting feedback from the beta users.

Well done Maurice, some light at the end of a very long tunnel, hope everything works out well for you.

I did close the CA5 forums.  I still have a copy of it locally, but it was a pain to maintain.  Rather than let it get way out of date which might have exposed the site to hackers I decided to take it down so people's personal information couldn't be stolen.

I have been trying to get another laser sensor so that I can use two on my Camera Axe 5.5 unit.  Non of the "store" pages work for me.  What can I do?
