Decided to give the build a try-  I ordered all the parts except the case and Boost regulator through digikey for $125 USD. The boost regulator I got on amazon for $9 USD. I don't have a 3d printer so I had the case and template printed by cloudcraft for $75 USD

So just over $200 USD for all components, I'll report back how it goes with the build and the results.

Any luck with this, I am in the process of collecting the components, and designing my own case in acrylic

Ernie, I know you aren't a software guy so I just wanted to point out the flash software is not complete.  Someone would need to finish that software before the flash is usable.

Sounds good Lee.
I am still in the throws of designing an acrylic case, have most of the work down, but I have some adjustments to make to the CNC before I can cut it out, plus still waiting for components to arrive, this virus is holding things up some. hope you are fairing well with it.

I'm almost done with the build however missing a few parts and local supply shops are still closed. We are opening stores next week so hope to finish it next weekend.

I'm glad your all healthy and well and focusing on projects. It will be nice to hear how it goes and see sample works of photos.

Yes Likewise, still gathering parts, I have designed a case to cut out on my CNC, prototypes look pretty good, not sure if I will cut the front in Acrylic or Aluminium, my main concern is insulation, will have to give it more thought.
Stay Safe.

Seems like things have come to a stand still here, even the developers site has gone to sleep. I sincerely hope that all are well.
