Hi All,

I'm new to this forum and Photography as well. Need your suggestion. One day while in a shoot due to sudden rain my 7D is drenched and after that i just cleanup the camera with wet cloth and i found some most on the pics and cleaned up the sensor with hair dryer, is it Good or bad ? and found some dust in View Finder but it is not effecting my image. could this be rectified ?

Awaiting for your response Guys and looking for your support.

thanks in advance

cheers || Raghu

The 7D is supposed to be pretty weather resistent.  How did you manage to get water inside the camera? I would not be using a hair dryer on the camera. You are applying heat to a sensor and that is not a good thing.  At this point your options may be to just send it to Canon. I am still surprised you managed to get water into the camera itself. What lens did you have on it?
