PLEASE be EXTRA vigilant and careful as we have received word of a serious break in today in the Camelot neighborhood.
There have been other break ins/robberies in other areas of Clemson today as well.
LOCK your home, your car and take note of objects around the exterior of your home that can be used to force entry (shovels, rakes, large rocks, etc.)
I ask also that everyone keep a look out for each other and don't hesitate to contact police if you see something suspicious.
Thank you.

In addition, if anyone saw anything please contact Clemson Police Department at 864-624-2000 with that information.  Thank you!

Dear Fellow Camelot Residents,

In light of the recent break-in (Kings Way and Princess Lane), I wanted to recommend my home alarm company. I do not own stock in the company, so I am just posting this to let everyone know the peace of mind we get from havning an alarm system (I think I do get a referral credit, so please feel free to mention my name if you are so inclined, but that is not the reason for my email). The company is MSW Security Solutions, Inc. out of Anderson and they are really top notch. You can lease or purchase all of the equipment, but either way the price is reasonable. The monitoring fee is payable quarterly which is better than paying every month. Also, their alarm systems use the Total Connect system by Honeywell which has an iPhone application that allows you to arm/disarm the system from anywhere (and to monitor home cameras if you have those) and monitor the activity on the system (i.e. when the system is armed/disarmed by family members). Furthermore, the system can include fire and carbon monoxide detectors that are also monitored. If you have ever heard of someone's house burning down simply because they were not at home, you know how invaluable fire protection can be. And we have all heard of people dying in their sleep from carbon monoxide inhalation. Finally, you can set the system up so that you can turn it on at night when you are home by just arming the door/window sensors and the glass-break sensors. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to call or email me.

Other companies that I have heard good things about are Southern Burglar and Fire Alarm and Carolina Burglar Alarm.

I do hope that we can all continue to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity in the neighborhood so that we can get a handle on this crime.

Nathan
