Hi there,
I am running into an issue with my camera trap study where I cannot upload new images to Camelot because my desktop is running out of storage space. My general (and probably very simple) question: Will deleting the original image files affect my Camelot project? It seems like Camelot makes a copy of the original image file and stores them somewhere else on my computer, along with the metadata and processing fields. I'm assuming that Camelot doesn't actually depend on the original image files after they are uploaded. I am planning to copy the original folder of images to an external harddrive and then delete them from the computer that Camelot is running from, but I just want to double check that doing so won't make it unable to see and interact with images already uploaded to the Camelot project.
Thanks,
Harrison

Hi Harrison,
Yes that is correct: Camelot does store a copy of the images. You can safely delete originals that were uploaded into Camelot without impacting Camelot in any way.
