Hi Chris and Calum,
I had a very similar problem. I have been using megadetector separately with the timelapse software, but need a better data management solution - something Camelot seemed poised to offer. I created a survey, entered my camera stations, filled in some camera details and uploaded some data as a test. It was all looking good and I was excied to try it in earnerst. I realised I should have set up a dataset on the portable hardrive I am using for the project, rather than the default internal storage. I went to set ip a new dataset, following the documentation, copied my media over, and restarted.
Camelot wouldn't open with this new dataset and I had a look at the system log and noticed a 'database already in use' error. I tried to change it back to the original settings but now can't get it to reopen at all.
I've tried the fix above (deleting the files) to no avail. That said I seem to be getting a different error now. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Camelot but this hasn't made a difference either.
It looks like a great program, and I would like to get it working, but I'm running into some funny quirks. For example, I couldn't paste coordinate data into my camera info fields, I had to type it. It turns out I can't copy from Camelot either. I am unable to copy the system log showing the error info, and when I open the log file in a text editor there's just a couple of characters.
Any advice?
Thankyou
Gabrielle
