Hi Chris and Heidi,

I've been using Camelot for over a year now, and as my database outgrew my storage capacity, the IT team set up a Windows Server to host the database and imagery. As a result, I lost my access to the Animal Detection function as the Server does not have internet connectivity and it is very heavily locked down for security reasons. My question is, what port/s need to be opened on my Windows Server to allow Mega-detector to work with my data in Camelot? And also, are there are any specific IP addresses that can be added as exceptions?

I contacted the mega-detector guys but they referred me back to you. Any advice?

Cheers,

Hi Ange,

No ports need to be exposed to the Windows Server for it to access
Camelot's animal detection service (which in turn uses MegaDetector).

The server must however have outbound access to the internet.

Hope that helps,

-Chris
