Hi, I'm having a little problem here. For some reason, I lost the data from a session on one of the trap stations. Now I need to recover that information or re-upload the photos. What's the best solution for this? Thank you very much!

Hi Gonzalo,

I will have to assume that the data is not present and will need to be
uploaded again. This could happen in the event that a Camera associated
with those Photos is deleted, though Camelot does ask to confirm, at
this point explaining that any uploaded photos will be lost if a Camera
is deleted. I could not otherwise offer any explanation or theory as to
what might have happened here, as there isn't much information at hand.

In order to upload the photos again, you should be able to do so via the
"Upload media" menu (drag & drop) on the survey.

In the event that the Trap Station session or its associated cameras are
missing you would need to either or both the Trap Station Session
(including both start and end dates) and one or more Cameras. Once this
is done, you should be able to find this in the "Upload media menu" and
upload photos via drag & drop.

This can all be done via the Advanced Menu. You can find information
about the advanced menu and how to use it here:
https://camelot-project.readthedocs.io/en/latest/advancedmenu.html.

Hope that helps,

Ok, thank you for your help Chris.

We finally managed to upload the media by creating a new session and then adjusting the end dates to match the "lost" session.

Have a great day!
