Camelot is free open-source software to manage and analyse camera trap data, designed for researchers and conservationists. This is the place for announcements, questions and discussion around Camelot. Camelot:

Makes classifying camera trap photos quick and easy
Keeps track of camera trap, camera and species data
Gives you a head start on data analysis
Plays nicely with other camera trap software, such as CamtrapR and PRESENC
Lets multiple people use it at the same time
Runs on Windows, OSX and Linux
Is easy to start using

When requesting assistance

Please tell us:

what operating system and web browser you are using <--- so we can give you the right advice
what animal(s) you are studying <--- this is to keep us motivated to keep supporting the software for free :-)
what country you are in

And please upload any photos within a .zip to ensure the image metadata is preserved. We also love hearing about your projects and how you are using Camelot!

After downloading the zip file and clicking on the .exe file the program will extract but I get no start page. Anyone know the reason for this?
