Dear Atul Sir,

This is Sharad Goyal, owner of flat number A 102 Camellia.

On 9th of January 2017, there was a lot of sewage water flooding out from one of the bathrooms in my flat and filled the whole flat. Very quickly, we noticed there was sewage water all over the flat. We immediately called up the society plumber to get the problem checked and he couldn't resolve the issue. He called up an external plumber to help solve the problem and this guy has checked that there was a problem with the common drainage pipe connecting all the bathrooms on other side of the building. He was charging Rs.3,500/- to clear the common drainage outlet that was stuck due to blockages.

Mr. Abhijit was contacted but it was emergency situation as sewage water was flooding the whole flat. The plumber then told that the issue should be resolved immediately in order to avoid a similar situation occurring for the flats right above and connected to this pipeline. There was no other option but to fix this problem due to emergency situation.

Since this is a problem created due to blockages piling from all the floors over a long duration and then choking up, this is a society expense. You can check regarding the issue with the society plumber or the lobby correspondent that checked the place on that day. Can you pl confirm to credit Rs 3500 in my next maintenance bill, that I spent towards external pipe blockage clearance.

Thanks & regards,

Sharad Goyal.
