Does the camelbox Perl distro contain a Perl GUI development tool? As
an example, one that comes to mind would be ZooZ, which is a GUI-based
tool that is used to developed GUI front-ends for Perl apps. I
believe the tool itself is written in Perl/Tk and generates Perl/Tk
code. Please advise if this - or another - tool exists in the
camelbox distro.
Thanks in advance.

You can use the Glade tool (C:\camelbox\bin\glade-3.exe) to generate
GUIs for use with Perl/Gtk2. I don't think it generates any Perl code
however, just the layout of the controls, which is saved to an XML
file and then can be loaded at runtime by Gtk2::GladeXML [1]. Is this
what you meant by "generates Perl/Tk code" above?

You could also install ZooZ from CPAN if you wished to use it instead.
The latest Camelbox release includes the Tk module(s) already.

Thanks,

Brian

Camelbox comes with the option to install Glade, which is what you are looking for.

Thanks for the response.  The tool does not necessarily have to generate Perl/Tk code ...
I'll probably install both Glade and ZooZ.

Thanks again...

If you used "The Step Up", "The Developer" or "Bloatware" install
types (the drop-down box on the package selection dialog in the
installer), you already have Glade.

Thanks,

Brian
