Error on compiling Win32::GuiTest

I manage to install "force" Win32::GUI, now I'm trying to instal
Win32::GuiTest.
I have the same perl and mingw32 that comes with camelbox, this is my

Hi,

Here's my successful install of Win32::GuiTest via "perl -MCPAN -e
shell" on Windows XP.

Note that I didn't have to do anything beyond open a CPAN shell to
install that module, and this system is pretty plain vanilla Windows
XP, i.e. not a lot of extra binaries installed in my %PATH%.

Just to double check, I downloaded the below mentioned tarball with
the 'wget' installed with Camelbox, and tested the tarball using the
installed 'tar' like this:

gunzip -c Win32-GuiTest-1.58.tar.gz | tar -tv

and I was able to get a listing of files and no errors from tar. The
'gid_t' errors you are seeing below are from the module author
creating the tarball using a version of tar that packs with the
Windows group ID, which is longer than a Unix group id, and the tar
that comes with Camelbox doesn't understand how to interpret the
longer number.

What program did you use to try to install Win32::GuiTest, and on
which version of Windows?

What was the *exact* command you used to install Win32::GuiTest?

Did you file bugs in Request Tracker (RT) on CPAN on the modules that
needed to be force installed?

They won't get fixed unless someone knows that they're out there.
