Here are your announcements for tomorrow, 7/13/08.  I do not have the scriptures for you.  Bro. Mike said he would give them to you before church service tomorrow morning.

 

 

 The Session will not meet this month. 

 

We will not have a Fellowship Meal this month due to construction.

We hope to resume our Fellowship Meals next month.

 

During Vacation Bible School wwe drew the long awaited winner of our hand made quilt, that was so generously donated by Virginia Ward.

The winners' name is:  Beth Smith.

 

Thanks to everyone who donated supplies and brought children to Vacation Bible School.  Thanks to all the teachers, crew leaders and helpers.  We appreciate everyone who helped make Vacation Bible School so successful!    Christian Education Committee

 

 

*Call To Worship (Responsively)

Pastor:    Come, let us worship, all who have received the Good News

              Of Christ.

People:  But not all who have heard the Gospel have come to

              worship.

Pastor  : The Lord warned some would hear of but not understand

              God’s love.

People:  And Jesus warned some would hear yet not truly commit

              their hearts.

Pastor :  But Jesus also taught that all who receive Christ, receive

              eternity.

All:        Blessed be the name of the Lord!

 

 

Prayer Of Confession

Lord, so often we have let the stresses and demands of life

put our faith on hold until we can manage to work things out. For

whatever reason, Lord, too often we have let the voices of the

world determine how we think and behave rather than seeking out

Your will. Forgive us, Lord, and help us again to learn to depend

only on Your leading. In Christ we pray.
