Here are your announcements for this Sunday:

 

 

The Session voted to hire a contractor to complete the remodeling work .  They will start this Monday.  We need to move all the stuff in the upstairs Sunday School rooms out.  We will meet today at 4:00 pm. We need everyone to come and help us get this done.  Please bring  sturdy, empty boxes.

 

 

The Unity Circle will meet this Tuesday night at 6:30 pm.  The

 hostesses are Brandy Milner and June Cox.

 

 

Vacation Bible School will be July 7th through the 10th, 6:00 to

8:30 pm.   Please fill out and return the registration forms found at the front door as soon as possible.  The supplies needed can also be found at the front door.  Please have all donations turned in by June 22nd.

 

 

The Scripture is Matthew 9:9-13, 18-26 (NIV)

 

 

Call To Worship

Pastor:     Come, all who are weary and worn and in need of the mercy

               of God!

People:   We are each one sinners who have fallen short of God's

                standard.

Pastor:    Yet Christ came to redeem the lost and to bring forgiveness

                for sin.

People:    So what must we who have gone astray sacrifice to be

                forgiven?

Pastor:    Lift your hearts together in faith! In Christ we are forgiven!

All:         Blessed be the name of the Lord.

 

 

 

Prayer Of Confession

   Lord, so many times we have either blindly followed the ways

of the world or we have chosen to listen to the voices of

darkness that would tell us we are sinners so lost You could not

redeem us. Forgive us, Lord, and help us to keep our focus on

Your promise that You came not for the righteous but for sinners

like us. Use our lives, Lord. In Christ we pray.
