Dear Zhilong, 

you are right, the column "individual_id" refers to the experiment (duplicate, triplicate) and IDs larger three result from additional scans due to QC failures.

But it's strange that for rat in vivo single and repeat groups, some values of individual_id are large than 3 (triple experiments). Why?
