Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the survey, which is now closed. Special thanks to everyone who has offered to help with the organization, offer a talk, or find a venue, and to Tom who has booked Makespace for our next meetup.
Tuesdays or Thursdays got equal votes, with no real preference for week of the month. To allow a reasonable time for the announcement to percolate, I've gone for 2nd Thursday of the month, so our next meetup will be on Thursday 11th July.
Talks and tutorials are more popular than coding dojos, but it's likely we'll hold a mix of events unless we have a rush of volunteers to talk or deliver tutorials. We'll keep the social element too, with pre- or post-meetup drinks.
We have people offering talks on:
* Graph databases
* Data visualization
* Enlive
* Working with 'legacy' Clojure
If you were thinking about offering a talk but weren't sure what topic to cover, here are the things that came up in the survey:
* Debugging
* Clojure in the real world
* Accelerating software development with Clojure
* Logic programming
* Duece
* core.typed
* Datomic
If you've done anything in these areas and could put together a talk or tutorial (anything from 5 to 90 minutes), I'd love to hear from you.
Announcement of July Meetup to follow.
Ray.
