Hi all,
The engineer we're looking for will take responsibility for the API that underpins our live product, and a range of line-of-business apps that Metail's staff, partners and customers use to manage the app and the involved process of creating digital 3D garment models. The current tech stack is mostly Java with some Clojure, integrated with Spring, and a GWT line of business app. We're looking to replace this with Ring / Compojure APIs and server-side webapps using hiccup or enlive, and we're part way through the API implementation already. Plenty still to do though :-) I think it would really suit someone who's getting a bit bored hitting everything with a Spring and Hibernate hammer, has enjoyed using Clojure on personal projects and wants to transition their professional skillset over.
The role will be based with our tech team in Mill Lane (our head office is in Shoreditch). We could imagine regular remote working if the location is a bind for you. The team has a great mixture of expertise from computer vision PhDs, machine learning experts, windows graphics programmers through to single page JavaScript app devs, all of them smart and fun to work with.
You can find out more about the role and us here:
I'll come along to the next meetup if anyone wants to discuss it. Alternatively just send me a mail to
j...@metail.co.uk
Cheers,
jim
