Rakesh, I would love to support Play 2.0 however the company I currently work for is using a completely different framework stack so other than my personal time I don't have any time left to work on Cambridge. Lately I have a lot of things going on in my personal life as well and hence the development slowed down on Cambridge. I would like to see more community support and contribution which is the only thing that gives me a reason to keep adding features. I personally am not using Cambridge or Play right now in my active projects.

I'm still planning on making a module, but the free time fairy has
been absent from my life! Meanwhile the new projects gremlins have
been running rife. I know there is a solution somewhere there!

I don't think I would make a Play 2.0 module though, I would do it for
1.2.4. I think Play 2.0 is a bit too bleeding edge still.

I wouldn't touch Play 2.0 with a 100 foot pole. IMHO, jumping onto the Scala is bandwagon this early is a mistake and a dead end for Play. The thought of having to use a SSD drive just to get any sort of performance out of Play is about 10 steps backwards... and even then, it is still slow...

Erdinc, sorry to hear that you are no longer able to use Cambridge yourself. It has a couple of tiny issues, but overall is pretty darn stable though. Don't worry, I think it'll live on just fine as is.

Yep. This is a list of our 'stack' for the Voost website.... https://www.voo.st/about#credits

Not super happy with Resteasy, mostly because Jeff has had to work around some stubbornness there, but for the most part, it works well enough.

cheers,

jon
