To send individual invites to the all group members, send it to
cambridge...@googlegroups.com . At least in Gmail, it will be
translated into individual invites so that each group member can
manage it individually. Event status (who invited, attend , your RSVP
or cancel RSVP, etc.) can be tracked in real time when you click on
your invitation link. The whole process of reservation and invitation
is pretty straightforward. Call to the club desk, make reservation.
The reservation confirmation mail has the ICAL calendar entry
enclosed. Add it to your calendar (“add to calendar” button in Gmail),
enter
cambridge...@googlegroups.com into the guest address
box.
I might be lazy to modify a CAC reservation, then my invites will be
just copy of a club reservation. By default my invites assume
invitation for a intermediate-up level game, maximum 6 people. If less
4 people confirm attendance, the game will be cancelled (you will get
cancelation e-mail). Obviously, you are free to set your conditions
for your invites.
