Come one come all to the first Cambridge Ruby Pub Night!

Or, as I like to call it.... uhhh.... CaRuPuNi! Or, if you
are a nihongophile かるぷに!

Actually, just call it "pub night". I think that's easier.

Pratik got this going and then convinced me to get involved. Except,
I'm bad at just like...
being a little involved. I tend to be a bit... passionate.

Anyhow, I convinced Pratik to let me model this after Toronto's long-
running and super-successful
Ruby Pubnite.

No speakers allowed. Come to meet new people. Don't just talk about
nerdy stuff.
Absolutely invite your friends to come. Just, make sure they want to
meet some
awesome artist/nerd people.

Come to bitch, drink, laugh, talk, and learn more about Ruby!

Don't program in Ruby? That's cool. Just be that *kind* of programmer.
Someone passionate,
someone who loves what they do, someone who loves technology and loves
meeting other nerds.

What if you are a rude, anti-social, basement dwelling nerd who
doesn't bathe? Well, in that case,
there are plenty of other events in Cambridge where you will fit in
perfectly. Enjoy those!

Anyhow, so this week here are the details:

The Flying Pig

Its just south of city center. Right next to station road on regent
street (its called hills road down in
these parts).

We'll be there at 7pm. We might have to fight for tables, but DON'T
SIT. Stand up. Talk to people.
Get around! Move!

See you guys there!
