Good to meet various new people on Tuesday.
For the benefit of everyone who couldn't make it, it turned out lots
of us work from home in and around cambridge. I've been meaning to
work from Ideasspace (ideaspace.cam.ac.uk) recently. It's a new
coworking space up by the cavendish labs. I've been up and it's a nice
working environment. A few other people expressed an interest in maybe
working from there one day too. Synchronising our watches seems like a
good plan.
Cost is £50 a month for one day a week, or you can pay more for a full
time desk. Give the weather and Christmas I'm probably not going to go
up more than once this month but plan on being a regular from January.
If people are interested I might be able to swing something for a
single day this month to try it out? The guys running it are nice and
I'm sure they would be interested in a regular group of Ruby folk
descending on the place.
Also of interest might be that Springboard (http://springboard.com/)
is going to be based out of there when it's up and running, so more
smart people to interact with.

I'd be keen for a trial day at some point, ideally a Tuesday or Thursday.
I found the website last night, am I right in thinking that the £50pm allows you to book a desk 1 day a week, but you can turn up and take unbooked spaces as often as you want (if they're available)?
