Housemate required!
One of our housemates will be moving out in January and we are looking
for someone to take their place in our lovely house in central
Cambridge.
THE ROOM
Lovely first floor room with single bed (with underbed storage) and
two windows. Wardrobe and bookcase also available to buy off current
occupant cheaply. Room for a desk.
THE HOUSE
Beautiful spacious kitchen, separate big sitting room, two bathrooms
each with shower/bath, downstairs toilet/cloakroom, garage, patio out
the back.
HOUSEMATES
We are three clean and tidy, and exceptionally witty girls. We all
studied music and sing/play so the musically inclined are most
welcome. We have a piano (although it's a little out of tune!).
LOCATION
We are an excellent central Cambridge location - five minutes walk
from the station and fifteen minutes walk/five minutes cycle from

PERIOD
We need to sign a six months fixed term contract - 1st Feb to 31st July.
There is a possibility of moving out a month early, though, so long as
there are new tenants wanting to move in in July (highly likely). Also
if you wanted to continue living in the house for the next year, of
finding new housemates and renewing the tenancy - that is what we did
last year.
If you need to move in earlier, then we have a large sitting room with
an airbed which could be an extra bedroom for a few weeks. Also, we
can store boxes etc in the living room or garage.

RENT
Here are the details of monthly payments:
Rent - £385
Council Tax - £70
Bills - £55 ('Bills' include all water, electricity, gas and heating)
Internet - £10
=520 total
(NB - with council tax and bills we've actually rounded up what we pay. We
pay this into a joint account, and then split what's leftover at
the end. This is just to make sure there is always enough in the
account to pay any bills, as they come out at different times of the
year/month. We probably pay in about £25 extra a month, so it’s more
like £495.)
