Next Steps Following the Community Meeting

Dear Cambridge Minyan community,

Thank you so much to those who attended our recent community meeting. We had a productive and promising discussion, and we greatly value the input from our community.

Below is an update on our near-term plans, following our discussion at the meeting:

Davening Schedule
In December, we will meet on the first and third Shabbat of the month (12/7 and 12/21), as we have previously. Starting in January, we will meet on the first Shabbat only each month. We will meet for the first Shabbat in February, March, and April 2025. At the end of March, we will reassess our plans for April and May to determine if we want to add other dates, such as the seventh day of Pesach. This lighter schedule will help take some pressure off of our coordinators, leyners, daveners, and gabbais while also allowing us to maintain our minyan community. During this time, we plan to assess as we go and focus on outreach.

Continuing the Conversation
We will come together at another community meeting on Sunday, May 4 to discuss our modified schedule, report back on outreach efforts, and brainstorm ideas on how to proceed at that time. We hope you will join us.
