We are holding a community meeting this Sunday, November 17 at 10 am. The purpose is to discuss the future of the minyan and explore ideas on how to move forward (see below).
Please RSVP here by 10 pm today, Thursday, November 14 to let us know if you can attend. We will provide brunch and there will be babysitting for those who need it. The location/address and any additional details will be distributed after Shabbat ends on November 16.
Like many communities, Cambridge Minyan has struggled in different ways since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, but recently the situation has become more acute and the need to discuss a path forward is more pressing. If Cambridge Minyan is going to continue meeting on Shabbat mornings, we need to build a broader group of daveners, leyners, and gabbais who can share in the responsibilities and joys of sustaining our community. We know that life can be busy, and many of us feel stretched. We hope that together we can find creative solutions to ensure that Cambridge Minyan remains a meaningful part of our lives.
