Hello, all! This information was sent to me by Casey Johnson of the Rhode Island Plant Insect Community Network, who are organizing a conference for next March. Students particularly are encouraged to apply.

The Rhode Island Plant Insect Community Network (RIPICN) will be hosting a one-day conference on March 7, 2026 (10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) at the Quonset 'O' Club in North Kingstown, RI. This is a RI Natural History Survey Science Conference, as RIPICN is a program of the RI Natural History Survey. The conference aims to highlight Rhode Island’s biodiversity, with a particular focus on insects, native plants, and organisms connected to the plant-insect network. We welcome work being done in RI and out-of-state research that is relevant to RI. Our Call for Abstracts is officially live, and we will be accepting proposals for talks and posters until 5:00 p.m., January 12th. The abstract submission form can be found here, or on the Call for Abstracts (attached below).
