Are you passionate about insects and looking for a hands-on experience in the heart of the Amazon rainforest?

A little of what you'll do includes:

• Master Sampling Techniques: Gain hands-on experience with a variety of methods, including Malaise trap collection and preparation of specimens for DNA barcoding.

• Monitor Beetle Diversity: Set up pitfall traps to help us study the incredible diversity of beetles in the Amazon.

• Build an Entomological Collection: Collect moths using UV light and learn how to properly mount specimens for scientific collections.

Among many other insect-related activities. Whether you're an aspiring entomologist or just have a love for insects, this program offers a unique opportunity to explore your passion while making a meaningful impact.
