Summer Trips to Mount Washington

Hi all,

As part of the CEC’s 150^th anniversary celebrations, Scott Smyers has organized two exciting weekend trips to the White Mountains: July 12^th-14^th and August 16^th-18^th, 2024.

Please see the attached flyer (made by Andrea!) for additional details on location, lodging, outings, and speakers.

If you would like to stay at lodging from the Appalachian Mountain Club, we recommend  that you book soon; reservation codes are provided within the flyer.

Hi all,

Would anyone be interested in carpooling to the New Hampshire field trip this weekend? I have a small car that can fit 3.5 passengers. Also I think I waited too long to try booking lodging at the AMC, let me know if anyone also wants to split an airbnb nearby.

Hi Jason,

 

I’m glad to hear you will be joining us this weekend.

 

Carpooling is a great idea, but I’m not involved in coordinating such an endeavor.

 

I’ll be heading up earlier on Friday and watching the weather for field trip options. It looks quite good.

 

I’ve added my email in the cc for anyone with questions. Ideally, we’ll have a good showing for Friday night’s presentations.
