If you want to try and understand why Boeing's "most successful aircraft ever "( due to sales of 5000 of this type of aircraft ) its newest 737 MAX aircraft has been crashing watch the videos in the links i provide and read the articles i provide links to ...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lion_Air_Flight_610 has details on this crash that happened on 29th October 2018 at 632am local time killing all 189 people on board it just 13 minutes after take off from Jakarta Indonesia . This was the first major crash of this type of plane the Boeing 737 Max . Preliminary investigations revealed serious flight control problems that traumatized passengers and crew on the aircraft's previous flight, as well as signs of Angle of attack (AoA) sensor and other instrument failures on that and previous flights, tied to a design flaw involving the Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS) of the 737 MAX series. As a result, the United States Federal Aviation Administration and Boeing issued warnings and training advisories to all operators of the 737 MAX series to avoid letting the MCAS cause an abrupt dive similar to the Lion Air flight.
These advisories were not fully implemented, however, and the design issues are suspected to be involved in the Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 crash on 10 March 2019, leading to the worldwide grounding of all 737 MAX aircraft.

379,705 views 43min03, Liz Hayes investigates the disaster of Boeing’s
737 MAX jetliner. Why two supposedly state-of-the-art and safe planes crashed
killing 346 people; why pilots now fear flying the 737 MAX; & whether
Boeing could have averted the catastrophes. WATCH more of 60 Minutes Australia:
https://www.60minutes.com.au https://www.facebook.com/60Minutes9 https://twitter.com/60Mins : https://www.instagram.com/60minutes9 this shows how MCAS takes over control of the plane automatically and repeatedly , pilots had just 5 second intervals to regain control, the plane would use MCAS for 10 seconds then take a 5 second break but the pilots had no idea MCAS was even fitted as its not in their manuals ! This is clearly Boeing's aweful decision to hide a system they put on the plane because the new bigger engines alter how the 737 Max handles compared to previous 737 versions & they wanted to avoid the cost of having to retrain pilots .
