Thanks guys for the comments, but sadly wasn't able to get anything to work. I'm pretty beginner to coding so I feel like this may just be one over my head. If it helps I'm just needing to copy a file from sharepoint locally, it never needs to go the other direction.

Outlook .PST files are supported, however they are synced less frequently compared to other file types to reduce network traffic. To prevent uploading .PST files from the OneDrive sync app, read Blocking syncing of specific file types. To move .PST files out of OneDrive, read How to remove an Outlook PST data file from OneDrive. If users enable PC folder backup (Known Folder Move) manually without the group policy, they will see an error if they have a .PST file in one of their known folders (e.g. Documents). If Known Folder Move is enabled and configured via group policy, .PST files will be migrated.

I have a infopath form in Sharepoint that i need to have a link to a Shared network drive something like \\abcservername\sharedfolder\folder2, folder 2 gets it name from a field in infopath so is dynamic. This seems to work when usign the form on local pc but once published in IE i click the link and it tries to open http:\\ and i get a blank page.

Hi everyone. We ran into an issue where other people accessing the report I built are not able to refresh the report with a daily export that is dropped into this destination folder, which I assume is because they may have the network drive mapped differently. For other reasons as well, I want to change this from the current folder path, to a Sharepoint Folder.

In my office we have a network drive that contains a bunch of excel files that team members have to go in and edit often. Consequently, we have many versions of the same file saved with slightly different names and it gets difficult to manage.

Hi all, I would be very grateful if soneone could explain to me in laymans language how I go about reading from files on a shared network drive. As far as I can tell it seems I need to reconfigure my user details within alteryx in order to enable connecting to local shared deives? Detailed steps would be appreciated. Essentially I need my WF to look at a table on a shared drive and pull the necessary data into the WF. The table itself will be static on this drive and will not be dropped into the workflow as an input file at any stage. Thanks in advance.

Adversaries may search network shares on computers they have compromised to find files of interest. Sensitive data can be collected from remote systems via shared network drives (host shared directory, network file server, etc.) that are accessible from the current system prior to Exfiltration. Interactive command shells may be in use, and common functionality within cmd may be used to gather information.

Monitor executed commands and arguments for actions that could be taken to collect files from a network share. Remote access tools with built-in features may interact directly with the Windows API to gather and copy to a location. Data may also be acquired and staged through Windows system management tools such as Windows Management Instrumentation and PowerShell.

Monitor for newly constructed network connections that may search network shares on computers they have compromised to find files of interest. Network Analysis frameworks such as Zeek can be used to capture, decode, and alert on network protocols such as SMB that revolve around network shares.

Click Login to connect to your VM. If the connection issuccessful, the window opens your local file system on the left andthe VM's file system on the right. You can navigate to differentdirectories in these file systems and drag files to transfer them toand from your VM.
