Subject: Opportunity to connect rural youth with international communities

Dear Sir/Madam,
Greeting from the Golden Land, Myanmar!
Long time no see… How is everything with you?
As you know, I am in Yangon and work for KT Care Foundation, registered  UK Charity based in Myanmar.
Today, I would like to introduce you one of our exciting attempt, you may be interested in!
IT Literacy for Myanmar Rural Youth
As you know, Myanmar is the most interesting land in the world now. Land with full of diverse resources and democratization of government attracted visitors and investments. People are exciting and expecting bloom of opportunities emerging in Myanmar.
In the rural area, on the other hand, you can still find peaceful, traditional and nostalgic ways of living everywhere… But these rural people also know the change will come to them soon or later.
In a bunch of villages over 100 miles away from Yangon and badly hit by Cyclone Nargis in 2008, we will open IT Literacy Centre to provide computer trainings. The knowledge and skills youth gained from the trainings can improve career opportunities in the near future. To be self-reliant in long term, we will run the centre not as a charity – free-for-all kind, but a “business”.
The profit is generated from the computer training fee and copier, photo printing and photography services. (Believe or not, village people love to take a lot of photos of their festivals, wedding ceremonies, donation ceremonies and full moon days…etc,etc..!)
To make this possible …
We need your generous support! And/or kind moral support :) . I am confident to say that our rewards for your support are also splendid and unique. Your support can be ranging from 5 AUD to 250 AUD and above. For every support, you will be granted a reward/s.
Have you ever heard about “crowdfunding” ??
Crowdfunding is an online fundraising way to get contributions from individuals. “Pozible” is one of the well-known crowdfunding online platforms.
We decided to try for the crowdfunding because this can connect the rural Myanmar youth with people who individually and directly wish to support them.
We are launching our first crowdfunding web page on 24 January (next Thursday)! When it is publicized, I request you to share about it to potential supporters in your network.
Meanwhile, please check about crowdfunding here: www.pozible.com
And our organization, KT Care Foundation here: www.ktcare.net
Keep in touch, please. I will let you know when our crowdfunding start on!
PS: For your privacy, I put your email in Bcc.

Warm Regards
