Dear All,

Please receive a warm greeting from the United Nations-mandated University
for Peace.

If you are receiving this email, it is because our alumni in Cambodia have
suggested you or your organization as being a key contact that might be able
to assist us in promoting a scholarship opportunity for Cambodians.

We are pleased to be coming to Phnom Penh on June 5 2013 in order to provide
an informative seminar on a Full MA Scholarship programme for 2014-2015 that
we have for young professionals from Asia entitled, the 'Asian Peacebuilders
Scholarship' (APS).  The South East Asian region is of great importance for
the programme and we have special spaces allocated for qualified
professionals from Cambodia.

The Asian Peacebuilders Scholarship (APS), a dual Campus Master of Arts
Programme, is a shared initiative of The Nippon Foundation, the United
Nations-mandated University for Peace (UPEACE) and Ateneo de Manila
University (AdMU). The objective of the programme is to train 30 young Asian
professionals each year to become peace-building practitioners, ready to
take up leading positions in international organizations. The APS covers
full tuition, airfare, transit and some visa costs for all programme
components.  A monthly stipend of 700 USD is provided to students throughout
the duration of the programme.

Please find attached information regarding the seminar. To find out more
about the UN-mandated University for Peace, I kindly invite you to visit our
website: www.upeace.org, and more about the APS programme at
www.upeace.org/alp.

I would be grateful if you could re-distribute this opportunity throughout
your network of contacts who you think might be interested in the
scholarship, and please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any
questions.

With my best wishes,

Laurel Gaylor
