Cyclocross Training Ride - Wednesday, September 14th, @ 4:15
(These are not technique clinics but rides for those who choose to run
bumpy treads.)

Hood River Doublecross this weekend. Who's racing and which days.
We're in for Saturday only.

Remember if you don't want to receive these just shoot me an email.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ride Type - Cyclocross (see Description below)
Date - Wednesday, September 14th
Time - Ride leaves at 4:15
Leave from - 7129 SE 85th, Portland, OR (David Heddy's place)
Route - Springwater Corridor & Powell Butte
Duration - approx. 1.5 hours (seat time)
Pace - Medium Fast
Description - The terrain will be paved on the way out then we'll
climb up Powell Butte and bust out some
hot laps on the trails out there. Returning to Dave's around 5:45.
This ride is intended to be a faster pace training
ride geared towards Cross bikes. If you want to run up something this
week you decide what it is.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My intentions are to set these up as fairly hard, faster paced
Cyclocross training rides.
The "Pace" description is relative to my pace as a Cat 2 or B. Fast
for some, slow for others!
Faster riders can always charge the hills and double-back, then
regroup at the top of the climbs.

For now, as the group is small, if you plan on joining us, please let
me know if your coming.
RSVP by email to sean.v...@daimler.com or CHSMT...@hotmail.com.
If you don't RSVP, I assume your not coming and we may ride earlier or
elsewhere.

Start times are actual roll out times so please be ready to go 5
minutes before.
General rule is if you're early, you're on time, if you're on time,
you're late and
if you're late, you get left behind! I hate waiting so enough said on
that issue.

Helmets required...............Really, do I actually have to say
that!

Feel free to pass this on to those you may know who race might be
interested.
If you don't want to receive these emails please let me know and I'll
remove you from my list.

I'm racing Saturday and I working building the new pumptrack at Ventura Park in SE Portland on Sunday with NWTA. If anyone is interested in helping please let me know. This first work party is not a huge public one but if you want to help you can.

I'm still not sure about my participation.  If I make it I will have to race up a class on Sunday to be able to make it out there on time.  Don't count on me this weekend.

No bike racing for me this weekend, but I will be at the beach for the half marathon...then I can finally focus more on training on the bike. Speaking of which, I'm a no-go for the CX training ride tomorrow evening. Too many work commitments and I have to bail. Sorry guys...
