No organized Cross ride this week. The Blind Date series kicks off at
Alpenrose Wednesday night. Zach will be racing and I'm undecided right
now. I'm planning on riding to work everyday this week so it's gonna
depend on how tired I feel. Is anyone else going to the Dairy?

It's the last week of Bike to Work month and Daimler challenged
Adida's this year so I'm trying to log some miles this week. As of
this morning, Daimler employee's have logged 13,008 miles this month.

Well, you've got us beat for the Bike Commute Challenge. We're at 367 miles, but then that is just me and one other employee. Racing tomorrow, commuting Thursday!

Me and my co-worker have put up 333 miles so far.

I've got 212 myself. I feel bad though because I missed 2 days earlier in the month.

Next September, we need to do the Camas Team Commuter Challenge. I think Todd logs some serious mileage. - Sean

I agree, that would be fun. My mileage isn't what it could be. My route of choice from home to work is a little over 36 miles round trip, but if I can get three days of bike commuting in, that is a huge win. With shuttling kids around and the often-occurring need to be at the far reaches of the Metro area in the morning or evening for work, it can be tough to get the days in.

I got a lot of miles in last week though, and I felt pretty good at Barlow on Sunday as a result. After a marginal start I settled into a decent pace and I think I passed more people in the second half of the race than the first. Training with teammates is a big help...now I have to keep the momentum going. The season is officially in full swing!

Cecily and I's round-trip is 16 miles. But we are very consistent generally only missing a couple days per month. We also ride over Tabor for some hills.

I'm pretty much right at 40 miles. I'm not sure how late in the year I could withstand the cold temps. I have major issues staying warm.

I agree, my round trip is 25 miles, just need to get more consistent as well. I need to get a good waterproof bag though since I have to commute with my laptop...btw, why wait until next september, we could make it an ongoing team monthly challenge.

If the moon's align and i can find a day where the rest of the family is at home and i'm not playing taxi driver I'll give it a run.  I'm about an 18 mile one way ride but its been known to jump up to 20-24 miles sometimes :)

Little easier for me when the kids are not in school and are able to stay home :)

I need to move the shop or my house farther away from each other if I am ever to be a threat on the challenge!

There would have to be a factor in there but the number of days ridden would have to be a big portion of it. I'll try and come up with something if I get bored.

Just take a 'wrong turn' and add some miles:)
