Cyclocross Training Ride - Wednesday, September 21st, @ 4:05 MEET @
THE GATE
(These are not technique clinics but rides for those who choose to run
bumpy treads.)

The Battle at Barlow is Sunday and the Blind Date series kick's off
next Wednesday night at Alpenrose Dairy

Ride Type - Forest Park Cyclocross
Date - Wednesday, September 21st
Time - Ride leaves at 4:05
Leaves from - Thurman Ave. gate
Duration - approx. 1.5-2 hours (seat time)
Pace - Medium Fast
Description - TBD. We'll either just crank out to German Town and
back on Lief Erickson or turn off and bust out some climbing loops up
Salzmen (I don't know how to spell it.). The terrain will be all
gravel
roads or dirt single track. Plan is to finish up by 6:00. This ride
is
intended to be a faster pace training ride geared towards Cross
bikes.

My intentions are to set these up as fairly hard, faster paced
Cyclocross training rides. The "Pace" description is relative to
my pace as a Cat 2 or B. Fast for some, slow for others! Faster
riders can always charge the hills and double-back, then regroup
at the top of the climbs.

For now, as the group is small, if you plan on joining us, please
let me know if your coming. RSVP by email to sean.vergillo@
daimler.com or CHSMT...@hotmail.com. If you don't RSVP,
I assume your not coming and we may ride earlier or elsewhere.

Start times are actual roll out times so please be ready
to go 5 minutes before. General rule is if you're early,
you're on time. If you're on time, you're late. If you're
late, you're get left behind! I hate waiting so enough
said on that issue.

Helmets required...............Really, do I actually have to say
that!

I'll be there. Might have a friend along too, if he can swing it. He's a worthy C rider. Sean, I'll probably take you up on that offer for a ride across the river on the way home if you have room...
