To all those interested in BMX (bicycle) racing:

We have been working for YEARS to get a new BMX race track in SW Washington
- originally focusing within Vancouver City Limits, as "Vancouver BMX"

Our new focus will be: "WASHOUGAL BMX" - find us / like us on Facebook!

This year opened up an extraordinary opportunity for us with 2 great new
contacts:

Ashley Shimer (Sports Sales Manager for Vancouver USA Regional Sports
Commission)
* Ashley is working with USA BMX to host a future National BMX event
at this location

Ryan Huffman (owner of Washougal MX Park, Vet Pro MX racer)
* Ryan has graciously offered to host a BMX track on his land
* Ryan grew up with BMX - so he is just as excited about this as we
are!
* Not only has he offered the land, but he has also moved dirt already
to rough out the track.

The track will be EXTRAORDINARY. It has a slight downhill and will be FAST
and FUN!

At this time, we are looking for volunteers / donations / any help and
interested people or businesses alike.

We need ANYONE that is interested in working with and helping to get the
Washougal BMX track going to come to a kick-off meeting to discuss what is
going on and what we need to do.
This Thursday August 2 at 6:00 pm.
