The great tidy up is starting now at the A14 J33
roundabout - night-time resurfacing and line painting on
the roundabout and on the A10 as far as the Park and
Ride site/Butt Lane. There are three phases: southern
half of roundabout, northern half of roundabout, and
A10.
Dates and Diversions
Depending on which way you approach the roundabout, you
will see signage describing roadworks from 23rd October
for periods between 10 days and 6 weeks (ending 8th
December). There are night-time closures, 9pm to 5am,
7 days a week, and diversions ranging from:
<through Milton>
to:
<A10(N) - Ely southern bypass - A142 - Newmarket -
A1304 - July Course roundabout - A1303 across J35 to
Newmarket Road and the ring road (A1134) - Milton Road
(A1309).
I boggled at that last one - about 39 miles including
the biggest roadworks in Cambridge.
Maps and TRO
One.network has the details but we're on a break. (I
left it hidden in a browser tab and it went into a sulk
with me.) In any case, I find the explanation clearer on
the Milton village website, and it gives local routes
for local readers. Here are some maps:

The TRO is in the previous post to this on the Milton site.
The next post, linked below, shows closed stretches (in
red) and dates for each of the three phases of work.

TL;DR
Approach the area with care at night. Or avoid.
