I can play 7/7/7 thanks to the double Traveler's Amulets and with the green fixing that would be more like 10/10/7 (with double green being easy to come by for the Sifter Wurm as well). I want more green since that provides fixing, but the problem is that my early plays (other than Traveler's Amulets) are all black and white.

There are also a few cards that I could see swapping in and out. For example, I put in the Binding Mummy because it works well with Accursed Horde and Unraveling Mummy (which in turn works well with Crested Sunmare). Is that enough? Even more borderline is Sacred Cat, which has some of the same synergies, but is only a 1/1 and doesn't have the same ability as the Binding Mummy for tapping things down. I've also heard that Torment of Scarabs is decent in sealed because of the longer games, but I've played against it multiple times and while it's been a headache a couple of times I don't think I've "lost" to it yet. But, is something like Rhonas' Stalwart any better?

I'll probably also try building an aggressive RU deck just to see how it looks, but I can't see leaving Angel of Sanctions, Crested Sunmare (with good support), Sifter Wurm, Grind to Dust, and Never to Return on the sidelines. I'm pretty sure that there's no situation where that's the correct move for a starting build and even when sideboarding against a known deck it has to be pretty rare that it would be correct.

So the deck is WB zombies splashing two Oasis Ritualists for the Sifter Wurm? I don't even know if you need 7 green sources. Doesn't sound like a good home for Rhonas's Stalwart. It looks like you might be able to attack enough to make Torment of Scarabs okay.

Heh, I was out for dinner with my in-laws and the family and in a lull in the conversation I started thinking about the deck (who doesn't do this?) and the same thing occurred to me. I'll have to look because maybe it's better to just "splash" the Sifter Wurm off of the two Traveler's Amulets and a few forests.

I ended up playing the version with green in it for the first three matches and went 1-2 with mana issues in more than one game. After that I built a deck that just splashed the Sifter Wurm and the one green ramp spell (since it has a colorless cycling cost and the deck had a lot of double colour spells spread across the colors. I also started sideboarding into a deck that got rid of the green and splashed blue for a counterspell, the Eternal scroll thief guy, and sometimes another blue card. That deck was against decks that started out slow and had a heavy top end or an unbeatable card. Went 5-1 with the more consistent mana base. Small sample size and all that, but the second deck just felt like it played better as well and really had enough power not to screw things up with the heavier green even if I would normally rather play a 4/4 vigilant reach guy over a 2-mana 3-1.
