2011ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಬರೆದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಮನಗರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಕೃಷಿ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೆ ‘ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಿರ್ಮಾತೃ ಕೆಂಪೆಗೌಡ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ’ ಲಭಿಸಿದೆ.

‌ಭಾನುವಾರ (26ನೇ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 2015)ದಂದು ಹಾಸನದ ಕಲಾಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರತ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತರ ಸಂಘದ ‘32ನೇ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದಲ್ಲಿ’ ಮಾಜಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಎಚ್.ಡಿ.ದೇವೇಗೌಡ, ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಟಿವಿ ಸಂಪಾದಕ ಎಚ್. ಆರ್. ರಂಗನಾಥ್, ಶಾಸಕ ಸಿ.ಟಿ.ರವಿ, ಚಾರುಕೀರ್ತಿ ಭಟ್ಟಾರಕ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ಮತ್ತಿತರರು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
