error - forrtl: severe (24): end-of-file during read

    What is the cause of the following error? And how to resolve it ?

forrtl: severe (24): end-of-file during read, unit 1002

I'm using vasp for optimization.

The problem is in your input.dat file. Just comment the pickup  and pickstep tags and run again.

When I didn't use these two tags, the error was the same.
