A first-year student at a vocational school with a neat image, she always keeps a gentle smile on her face in public. A cute girl who likes to wear girly clothes and calls herself, "Fuyu". Always attentive to her surroundings and wants to make everyone smile... is an outward appearance she created. In reality, she calculates her surrounds and knows that if she behaves like this, people around her will misunderstand her. The reason why she hides her true identity because she isn't very confident in herself, and fears being rejected for showing her true self, which has been holding her back. When she met producer, she started opening up for the first time. The difference when she opens up is quite strong and challenging. Behind the "Fuyu" image of hers, she is actually a huge fan of anime, and when she is in her "Fuyu" mode, she acts like she understands anime instead. She has a strong admiration for idols, and goes out wearing a mask when she goes to buy her favorite goods. In the unit she's in, Fuyuko built herself up through hidden efforts, and Asahi, who is a bundle of qualities, often makes Fuyuko bothered. And as for Mei, she doesn't seem to be bothered by her, but she is comfortable with her straightforward and good-natured behavior.
Fuyuko is a kind girl with a modest smile. Fuyuko is first seen as a bubbly and cheerful girl that likes cute things and is attentive to her surroundings. However, her true personality is much more serious, and she acts in a cutesy manner because she believes others will like her more when she does. The tone of her voice also changes from cute to serious between these personalities. She gets nervous easily and loses her temper when stressed, but doesn't want people to worry about her insecurities. One of her concerns about being an idol is not meeting the standards of others. Although she tends to be mean to the Producer, she actually respects him a lot and is grateful for the amount of support she receives, making her somewhat of a tsundere type character.
Producer meets Fuyuko while scouting in Akiba (Akihabara). When asked about becoming an idol, she changes her bubbly demeanor and answers that she never thought of becoming one. Fuyuko explains that only cute, attractive girls have potential to be idols and says they're the complete opposite of her. Fuyuko then asks Producer if he really thinks she could become one. When he chimes in, she immediately goes back to being cheerful, agrees and thanks the Producer for scouting her, leaving him confused.
When Fuyuko gets to participate in a photoshoot for her favorite magazine, the photographer tells her to act more natural. Despite trying her best, Fuyuko is criticized for looking too stiff and wearing a fake smile. Eventually the photographer gives up on instructing Fuyuko. Afterwards, the Producer approaches her and tries to console her. She suddenly gets carried away and says it's impossible for her to show her real face and smile genuinely at the same time. Fuyuko tells the Producer that she thought that pretending to be nice will help her get through all the gigs as an idol.
After some time passes, she finally has an honest conversation with the Producer. Fuyuko tells him that she thought about quitting due to all the overwhelming pressure but she had decided to come to terms with her real self and show her honest side to everyone. She then says she wants to try again and become an idol people can empathize with.
As White Album: Memories Like Falling Snow opens, you learn that Touya and Yuki have been in a relationship since high school. He considers Yuki to be the perfect girlfriend but is concerned that she likes him far more than he likes her. Beyond that, the only real problem is that she has no time for him. She debuted as an idol a year ago and barely sees him now. The life of a rising star is busy.
I enjoyed the more customizable experience and the move away from a traditional dialogue choice-based system (though important choices do appear in events) but it did mean that a lot of the time spent felt like filler. Particularly conversation events.
Her route is most interesting because it covers the drama not only caused by your growing relationship with her and her friendship/rivalry with Yuki, but also other plot-relevant issues going on in the background. It gives an insight as to what is really going on at the company. As well as that, she has a sympathetic storyline about missing out on being a normal girl.
Mana is the stereotypical twintailed tsundere. She looks younger than she is and tends to kick you if you say the wrong thing, but does turn sweet later on. Underneath the violence, we can see hints of sadness, especially when parents or school are brought up.
The music fits well and is all high quality, which certainly makes sense for a visual novel set around the idol industry. Voicing was all done well too and it has some major talent onboard, including Hirano Aya (Yuki) and Mizuki Nana (Rina). Including vocal songs of which there are several, they even have Suara involved, who you may recognize as a singer from the Utawarerumono visual novels.

The character reviews will help you to understand the combat potential that the girls have in both PvE (Story, Portal daily missions, Explore battles, Sub-Space) and PvP (Arena, Grand Arena, Tower, Invasion) gameplays. You will be provided with a full analysis of a girl's stats spread, a comparison with girls of similar club/element/ability as well as a detailed analysis of how to use them in battle to get the best out of them. We cannot and we will not suggest entire team setups to use them. If you need team suggestions, ask other players over our Discord server: they will be able to give you suggestions that are fit to your level and roster.

Don't expect miracles out of a Y2 girl. Please keep in mind that the various ratings given to the girls reflect their usefulness as a whole, all player levels taken in consideration, not their viability for endgame purpose. In other words, even if a Y2 girl is well rated, she isn't and will NEVER be fit to be used for midgame or endgame battles. Everyone is expected to run full teams of (awakened) Y3 girls in the long run. At best, you can expect a Y2 to help you getting started in PvP, but you will have to discard your Y2 girls sooner or later for Y3 girls. As a result, most of the Y2 girl reviews are there to give some advice to beginners who have the small roster of a beginner, so please don't imagine that a Y2 girl will allow you to win against teams of Y3 girls that who have way more power than yours.
Amina is one of the carnival girls, available only during the monthly carnival. It is usually compared to Luna due to both being carnival arts of the Wind element. A recently added character, Amina is a good option to have as your first carnival character, especially now that Giselle and Mina have good substitutes in Lilly and Tashia. Just be aware that as a carnival girl, once you set for her, you should go all the way to evolution 7 or 8 stars, else you risk falling behind other players.
Differntly from usual bursty themes you find in other wind arts, Amina's skill trades burst for increased damage. Together with her poison, her skill deals a whooping 2.7 times her attack as damage. This damage is further amplified by her awakening passive which increases her damage at the beginning of her turn. When coupled with a proper team with durability to maintain her alive until the end of the poison, Amina is sure to pack a good punch against any team. As a carnival character, her talent tree is also one of the best, with three different buffs, to her attack damage, her hit points, and a bonus damage against lightning characters. Another special feature of Amina's skill is the Silence debuff, with prevents one character from doing one normal attack on the next rotation. This debuff is specially effective if hit on a character with a strong basic attack like Tashia, Iris or Camille. The debuff hitting only one character is highly unreliable, however, and Amina should not be used with the sole intention of countering someone with her silence.
Awakening passive
As mentioned previuously, Amina's awaken skill has a great synergy with herself, by increasing her damage during her turn. It is also important to notice that the damage of Amina's poison is dictated on the turn she used it, meaning the increased damage will apply for the poison on its entire duration. At 7 and 8 stars Amina also has a chance or is guaranteed to extend the poison effect for one turn, adding a further 0.4 times her attack damage to her skill. As a bonus, 7 and 8 stars also increases the duration of her silence by one turn, making it more versatile to be used. Another very situational bonus of Amina's passive is the ability to evade Burn or Poison for 10 turns, which would help against Giselle and/or Lilly, but optimally, you would want to avoid using Amina vs fire characters anyway. Funnily enough, this part of the passive makes her a good matchup into herself.
Recommended spot in your PvP team
In spot 4, if she's usually the stronger Arts in your team. Unless you use Giselle, Awakened Elva or Camille in the same team, in which case those take spot 4 and Amina takes spot 1. If you use a buffer character like Kaia on spot 4, Amina can also go into spot 1. Also, watchout for characters that can remove her poison and position accordingly!
