Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I hope ya'll are enjoying your break from the Berkeley bubble/grind and getting to spend some quality time with loved ones and FOOD. This will probably be the last email sent out to the Fall 2011 Cabinet, so Spring 2012 Cabinet, this is where the fun begins! Huge, huge thank you to Fall 2011 Cabinet for a job well done (if I'm allowed to say so myself...whoop whoop!).

A really grrrreat gift to the new cabinet would be cabinet position kits (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1as_rYT1G-XPUsI-Cbd81RJxb_1dc2_1ZcsL5jU9lsJw/edit?hl=en_US&pli=1, and I've also attached it as a Word doc). Please fill these out thoughtfully and thoroughly, remembering that seamless transitions are something that Cal VSA can and will achieve! Email one back to me by the end of the year (12/31 @midnight), whether you have a successor or not. If you have a Co-, you can submit your kit individually or as one, and if you are continuing a year-long position, you should complete and submit one for self-evaluation purposes. Anyone who is unable to do so on time must contact me to work out a different deadline.

I also STRONGLY encourage you to get in touch with your successor and make yourself available for a coffee/lunch/dinner/skype date (Spring 2012 Cabinet Contacts)! This can be done at the beginning of next semester, but mostly just ASAP.

OKAY, thanks for reading all of that. Betcha missed having lengthy reading assignments anyways. Enjoy the rest of 2011!

Holiday Cheers,
Emily Khuc

Nudge, nudge! I've only received one so far, and I really really hope that your NYE plans don't consist of filling out a cabinet position kit... Read this if you need help:  http://www.sas.calpoly.edu/asc/ssl/procrastination.html , it never fails to get me going ;)
