Hey BOAA,
If you didn't make it to the meeting last week, check out the meeting notes at the end of this email to catch up on what we talked about, and to see if you have input on any of it. Also please note that we are no longer doing PPV tomorrow, Ryan from FARM has decided not to come because of forecasted rain all day. We're going to try again for next week though!

1. Advancing the Interests of Animals Grant-let's work on a final draft of our submission
2. Pay-Per-View: Wednesday 10/31
3. Thanksliving general planning
4. Money matters - let's talk about how we want to spend money this semester, in response to Amman's email, also logistics of how to access money for reimbursements

7. Brighter Green film screening
Meeting Notes from 10/17/12
2. Advancing the Interests of Animals Grant
-Justine's idea: Vegan week, with free vegan giveaways every day for a week. Pledge vegan and get a prize, give out literature etc. Do a screening of Earthlings.
-Justine will fill out the application, and send rough draft to gossip list for feedback
3. Ethi-cal: Justine has contacted them about getting BOAA shirts, waiting to hear back
4. Pay-Per-View: Ryan is coming from FARM next Wednesday (10/24). 9-3pm on Sproul. Let's get shifts going for tabling.
-9-11(or 12 if necessary): Ruby
-12-2: Sapphire
-1-3: Justine
5. Vegan Bake Sale?
-Justine is going to research how to do this
6. Thanksliving
-Ruby is going to contact companies asking for donations
-Sapphire has a car for day-of transportation of food
-Justine will help out day-of for cooking food and tabling
-Ruby will let people know if she needs help contacting companies
-Tentative date for Thanksliving Wednesday November 14th.
-where is the literature? Amman? Suzanne? Locker?
-lets make a facebook event for Thanksliving
-Can someone look into reserving tables and chairs? Suzanne?
7. Vegucated film screening 10/18 was canceled :(
8. Peaceable Kingdom film screening on November 15th 6-9 is still happening.
-Katie asked for reimbursement from BOAA funds for flyers, Ruby will look into how to do this.
9. Meatless Mondays
-tabling didn't happen this week because tables were not reserved at the dining commons, but hopefully they will be going next week. check out the google doc to sign up to table in the future!
-Ruby will check in with Katie about the table reservations.
-googlegroup for meatless mondays planning, email Ruby if you want to be added to it
-Justine needs to be added
10. Caliber article: Kate was working on this, hows the progress? -Justine is checking in
11. March to close down all slaughterhouses, lets check in with other organizations to see if others are planning for this
12. SALDF's event: conversation with PETA's associate director of animal lab investigations coming on November 15th. time and location TBA
-Ruby will keep talking to SALDF, and let them know that we are down to help them advertise
