Loving volunteers and Udaipur children made lasting friendships with animals at Animal Aid
|
2011 was a phenomenal year of success stories for the street animals in Udaipur rescued and treated by Animal Aid Unlimited.

This year has been marked by Animal Aid's abounding rescue response work and increased outreach with Udaipur residents.
We tripled our communication with the 3,000 locals who called our helpline to report a suffering animal.

Animal Aid gave life-saving treatment to animals like this wandering bull whose horn was jutting into his face, and this ill mother dog pictured here receiving fluid therapy as her puppies and Dr Smriti give her comfort.
|
We boosted local participation through inviting callers for tours and keeping callers up-to-date throughout treatment up to the time of release back to the neighborhood from where they came.
98% of our recovered animals were released with the active help of Udaipur residents, ensuring the continued guardianship of every animal.
This has resulted in better care for more animals and a life-saving increase of nearly 3 times the financial support as compared to the previous year from Udaipur locals.

Left for dead on the road, "Jigar" was rescued and brought to the safety of Animal Aid where he received emergency treatment, food and love.

We are so proud of our 35 staff who have worked with tenderness, courage, tireless energy and good cheer to turn pain and fear into happiness by giving treatment, nourishment, protection, warmth, love and cuddles to this year's 3000-plus rescued street animals.
We thank each of you for everything you have given to animals this year. You are angels and the animals are lucky to have you in their lives.
Please make one more donation this year to help Animal Aid welcome the animals of 2012 and turn their sad "before" stories into happy "afters."
