Lego Movie

I've been thinking of this "Calvary Homeschool" group lately.
I would love to coordinate a picnic after church for us to meet some of the new(er) homeschool families in our body.
If you are gifted in the planning department, and want to help me get something on the calendar, that would be awesome!

I haven't checked the reviews, but I'm hoping to take my kiddos to the Lego Movie on Valentine's Day.  Here's the details:

Homeschool Movie Day on Friday, February 14th!!! We'll be watching The Lego Movie at The Kuhn in Lebanon. Please plan to arrive at 9:45. The cost is $3.50 per person which includes a small drink, snack size popcorn, and a candy. PLEASE plan to bring exact change. I'll be collecting money out front of the theater. I have wanted to try to put something together, but have wondered if anyone would still be interested, because of classical conversations that people were not wanting to add another thing to their schedule. It seems that i am one of the few that didnt join cc. I would love to help put something on if there was enough of an interest to do it.

There's lots of families in our church that aren't involved with CC....and lots of families just beginning to homeschool their preschool/kindergartener this year.  I've talked to some of them and they would love to meet other families who homeschool in our church. Hopefully you'll be at the retreat this weekend and we can connect and brainstorm. :)

Hi Ladies,

I only have Jessica home this year (high school junior) and her schedule with the academy is quite rigorous with not a lot of flexibility since she's accredited. She is also preparing for her SATs for college....It's a bit busy to add extras besides her extracurricular activities...I love encouraging moms who homeschool, but I don't often have time to get away since I take classes with her. (Some classes are like being in SOM.)

I would like to hear what you have in mind. My girls are in need of making some friends. We no longer go to Calvary chapel. I'm not sure if that makes us ineligible for your group. :/

I think you are totally fine. Our group has been non existent :) anyone want to pray about taking it on? 
We will be at the Lego Movie and should try to sit together so our girls can re-connect.

Elizabeth, i have been praying about taking it on. I would love to be part of starting things up again if there is someone who would be willing to help with me. I really like the idea of doing a lunch/picnic thing. It would help get a group going again.

Hiliary, you dont have to be going to calvary, we have always had one or two families in our group that didnt. And it would be nice to have you part of our group as before. :) Nevaeh still talks about Wren alot. ;)
