I have arranged a field trip to Airlie Hills http://www.airliehills.com/  for their Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Patch on Tuesday October 25 at 12:15pm

Please let me know if you plan to come so that I can let the farm know of our "class" size so that they can be sure to have things ready for us. 

There are details below and their website is full of details and pictures of their previous Harvest Festivals.

My family GREATLY enjoyed it the last couple years, and can't stop talking about going again this year.

Thank you for scheduling your field trip with us! Your group is scheduled for Tuesday October 25th at 12:15.

We look forward to seeing you and your classes. Here’s all the pertinent information you’ll need for a fun, safe, & successful trip.

 

Teachers / Chaperons / Siblings:

●  You may bring as many chaperons and teachers as you need.

●  Teachers and chaperons are free to participate in activities, but may purchase pumpkins and gourds separately.

●  Each classroom gets a free pumpkin and 3 free gourds.

●  Extra children and siblings are also welcome to participate at the student rate.

 

Student Rate is $4.50 and Includes:

●  One u-pick pumpkin the student can carry

●  One u-pick gourd

●  A fresh baked cookie

●  Hay Ride through the pumpkin patch

●  Access to all activities including hay slides, grain box, hay fort, trike racing, hay maze, hay pyramid, & animals

●  Corn maze (It may be somewhat difficult for younger groups)

●  One ticket for free admission to come another day

 

Parking:

●  Entrance and parking will be clearly posted. We have plenty of room for buses and cars. For directions click here or go to our website. If you’re not sure or have trouble call Sarah at 503-851-6904.

 

Safety Rules:

●  All students must be closely supervised by you or your chaperons at all times.

●  Listen for instructions from the tractor driver before approaching the hayride or getting off.

●  Please help kids obey any posted signs.

●  Please do not feed the animals.

 

Food:

●  Feel free to bring your own snacks or lunch. We have picnic tables in the barn and plenty of hay bales inside or outside to sit on.

 

Cancellation:

●  If you need to cancel your field trip please notify us as soon as possible.

 

Wet weather isn’t a problem.

We have activities under cover and will be here rain or shine!

 

Helpful Hint:

●  To keep your bus clean and avoid mixing up pumpkins bring a kitchen size garbage bag or grocery bag for each child with their name on it. Bring them on the hayride to the pumpkin patch and have the kids put their pumpkin and gourd inside.

 

Payment can be made the day of the field trip or in advance by credit card.
