Each cross represents one abortion funded with our state tax dollars this year. Nine abortions will be funded today. Standing by and doing nothing to change this is simply not an option.
I'm inviting you to be part of this Oregon 2012 grassroots movement to send this email to 1 million Oregonians within the next 24 hours. With your help we will meet our goal of gathering at least 150,000 signatures to place Initiative #25 on the November ballot. Petition sheets must be in the mail (postmarked) by Monday, July 2. This is our final opportunity.
Instructions:
1. Print this single-signer petition sheet for Initiative #25.
2. Sign the petition sheet, then mail to: P.O. Box 1620, Corvallis OR 97339.
3. Forward* this email to every like-minded Oregonian you know.
*Consider using "Bcc" to protect recipient email addresses.
Important things to keep in mind:
1. Only active, registered Oregon voters can sign the petition. If you're not yet registered, or are unsure, go to http://OregonVotes.org/ and register online in 2 minutes using your Oregon driver's license.
2. Only sign the petition ONCE. Duplicate signatures, if spotted by the Secretary of State's office, can be very costly. If you've already signed, or are unsure, we still need you to forward this email to others.
3. When printing your petition sheet be sure to use WHITE, standard 8.5x11-inch printer/copier paper.
4. If you have any troubles with the PDF document go to www.Oregon2012.org/sign to access the single-signer petition sheet online. You can also print 10-line petition sheetsthrough the website.
5. All petition sheets must be in the mail (postmarked) by Monday, July 2.
Most taxpayers in Oregon have no idea we are spending $1.5 million on 3,500 abortions every year through the Oregon Health Plan. After 27+ years of watching and waiting, it's time for us to do something.
